Thanks

As I look out into the early morning sky today, all I can see id one very bright, twinkling star, and for a minute or so, it is the only thing I see. After watching it sparkle for a while, I feel it is Kelly giving me a sign that she is okay. After a bit, I notice that the sky is full of stars, thousands of them, and this gives me comfort.

Thank you for being one of the stars in Kelly’s and our lives. Your kindness and friendship have done more than you can possibly know to give us comfort.
Our family has been supported in ways we couldn’t even begin to explain. Your prayers and thoughts have literally carried each of us over a terrain of grief that has been nearly impossible to navigate. Every thought, every prayer and every effort has been deeply felt and appreciated, and each act of kindness has brought us one step closer to healing. Thank you for bringing us each step closer to finding our “new normal”, a way to go on living life without Kelly’s physical presence in our daily lives, but with her spirit and memories keeping us going.

Kelly lived a rich life and made a difference in her seventeen years she was with us. She is in heaven now, she has earned her wings and she will be twinkling for all of us whenever we need her. Please don’t forget her. Just look up into the sky, and when you see a star, remember just one thing about her and keep her spirit alive.

Love,
The Phillips Family
